My work includes a variety of web applications, large and small, that I have been able to develop both with teams and on my own. I have worked on applications in several fields including software development, education, gaming, small business, and finance.
Complete Sites and Apps

» AgendaDB.com
My most recent project was to develop a fully featured database of game information for Hi-Rez Studios’ upcoming spy-fi shooter, Global Agenda. I leveraged the CakePHP framework alongside a multitude of jQuery plugins (both mine and from around the web) to bring the project to life. It includes data organization and filtering, a complete user system, comments and image uploads, portable tooltips, a few unique player tools, and full integration with WordPress allowing users to be automatically authenticated to blog content when logging in on the main site

ArchStudio MashUp Extension «
While I was at UCI, I was fortunate enough to contribute to a research project being developed by the Institute for Software Research. ArchStudio is an extension for the Eclipse platform that focuses on providing tools for software design, such as UML diagrams and code generation. It also provides software traceability, allowing developers to collect research and other resources in a common place. My goal was to break these elements out into a web-based tool for broader access. I successfully did so and later gave a presentation on this new extension to the ISR group and faculty and was published in a handful of graduate research papers.

» Online Charter Manager
I worked for several years for a charter school in San Diego county and was fortunate enough to be able to introduce students to web design and basic programming. I was also given the opportunity to develop tools to improve the interaction between parents and faculty. The result was a suite of custom tools including online registration, course creation and scheduling, student file auditing, campus event tracking, and even attendance tracking. I integrated the user system with the open-source Simple Machines forum software, providing a complete online environment for students and families.

IntuitLabs «
IntuitLabs is Intuit’s public offering of new and innovative apps being developed by various Intuit developers. The IntuitLabs site has been evolving for several years, and its most recent iteration has been the focus of my work. I’ve moved the site to an open source platform, successfully migrated the existing data, taken the design from photoshop file to complete templates, developed all neccessary custom functionality, and implemented support for Omniture tracking.
